White Sauce Tagliatelle

Better Served with Chicken Strips

Remember those chicken strips from yesterday?
Well they are best served with my white sauce tagliatelle which I learned from my mother 😍 It is very simple and easy to do not to mention that it’s always a good idea!

Here we go!

β—‡ Tagliatelle pasta.
β—‡ 1 big cooking creme carton.
β—‡ 1 small onion.
β—‡ 1/4 cup of butter.
β—‡ Pinch of nutmeg.
β—‡ 1 teaspoon salt.
β—‡ 1 squeeze of lemon juice.
β—‡ 2 tbsps of white wine.
β—‡ 1 cup of parmesan cheese.

β—‡ Boil some water with salt. Add the tagliatelle pasta for around 6 minutes (always check the directions on the box).
β—‡ In the meantime, melt the butter in a sauce pan on medium heat. Fry the cut onion until tender and slightly colored.
β—‡ Add the cooking creme, nutmeg, salt, white wine and leave to boil. Then, add the lemon juice and the parmesan until they melt.
β—‡ Once the tagliatelle is done, remove its water all the while pouring over them cold drinking water. Then add them to the white sauce and stir for about 5 minutes on medium heat.

NB: if you want to serve the pasta later on, just add a small cooking creme bottle on top of the mixture on low heat until the sauce is dilute again.

Do not forget to serve with chicken strips or even grilled salmon fillet.
