When I was younger, I didn’t like spinach at all! Now that I’m older, I started looking for spinach recipes and found this one with yogurt (which I love) and it instantly became a hit within my family 😊👌 Did you ever try something as an adult that you thought you didn’t like and ended up loving it?
◇ 2 frozen bags of spinach.
◇ 200 g of ground beef.
◇ 1 onion.
◇ 2 garlic cloves.
◇ 1 beef stock cube.
◇ 1 tbsp of corriander.
◇ 1 tsp of salt.
◇ 1/2 tsp of pepper.
◇ Pinch of cinnamon powder.
For the yogurt:
◇ 1kg yogurt.
◇ 6 garlic cloves.
◇ 2 tbsps cornstarch.
◇ Fry the chopped onion with the ground beef (with its own fat), with the coriander and garlic until well done. Add all the seasoning and beef stock cube.
◇ Add the spinach to the mix and cover it with water (a little less than their surface, not more). Leave to boil on high temperature for 5 minutes and then on low heat for 10-15 minutes.
◇ On the side, add the minced garlic and cornstarch to the yogurt and mix them well.
◇ When the 15 mins are up, add the yogurt mix to the spinach and leave to boil for 5 minutes (pan uncovered and on low heat).
◇ You can always fry some pine seeds and add them at the end.
This is better served with a side of steamed rice.
