Chicken Nouilles

I’d rather not throw away any food, and that’s why I always end up creating something from leftovers. Yesterday for example, I had some left over grilled chicken, some gruillere cheese and a bag of bread crumbs. Hence “Chicken Nouilles” came to my mind. And I love cooking in the oven so I didn’t think twice about it!

◇ Cooked chicken cut into cubes.
◇ Tagliatelle pasta.
◇ 1 big cooking creme pack.
◇ 1 small onion.
◇ 1/4 cup of olive oil.
◇ Pinch of nutmeg.
◇ 1 teaspoon of salt.
◇ 1 squeeze of lemon juice.
◇ 2 tbsps of white wine.
◇ 1 cup of parmesan cheese.
◇ Crushed bread crumbs.
◇ 1/2 cup mozarella cheese.
◇ Gruillere cheese slices.

◇ Boil some water with salt. Add the tagliatelle pasta for around 6 minutes (always check the instructions on the box).
◇ In the meantime, fry the cut onion with the olive oil until tender and slightly colored.
◇ Add the cooking creme, nutmeg, salt, white wine and leave to boil. Then, add the lemon juice and the parmesan until they melt.
◇ Add the chicken slices (you should cook them before adding them, either grilled or boiled) and mix them well with the white sauce until well combined.
◇ Once the tagliatelle is done, remove its water all the while pouring over them cold drinking water. Then add them to the white sauce and stir for about 5 minutes on medium heat.
◇ Add the final mixture to a baking platter and top it with the gruillere and mozarella cheese. Then add the bread crumbs on top.
◇ Preheat your oven at 180°C for about 10 mins and add the platter for 15 minutes (same temperature). Once the cheese is fully melted, you can turn on the oven from the top and leave the tray untill the bread crumbs become crispy.
