Lentil soup

2 days ago, we had the first gloomy day this autumn. So I immediately thought about preparing this lentil soup to get me ready for winter πŸ€— I love Winter ❄

What’s your favorite season?

Ingredients:
β—‡ 2 cups of split lentils.
β—‡ 1 cup of rice.
β—‡ 1/4 cup of olive oil.
β—‡ 1 onion.
β—‡ 1 tsp of salt.
β—‡ 1 and a half tsp of cumin.
β—‡ Sprinkle of white pepper.
β—‡ 1 and a half liters of water.

Method:
β—‡ Wash the lentils and rice and leave aside. Cut the onion and place it in a food processor until it becomes creamy.
β—‡ Fry the onion with the olive oil then add the lentils, rice and seasonings. Mix them well then add the water and stir. Leave to boil on high heat for 5 minutes then on low heat for 30 mins.
β—‡ Always check if it needs extra water. You can add seasonings to your liking.
