I never imagined I would someday prepare chicken fajita😶, but it actually turned out to be easier than I thought. Although the chicken took a little bit of time to be cooked, I enjoyed preparing this dish and its dressings.
Do you prefer chicken or beef fajitas?
Ingredients (for 8 persons):
◇ 8 chicken breasts.
◇ 3 packs of fajita seasonings.
◇ 6 medium onions.
◇ 2 green bell peppers.
◇ 2 yellow bell peppers.
◇ 2 red bell peppers.
◇ 2 tsps of salt.
◇ After washing the chicken breasts (I use lemon juice and salt, then rinse them with drinking water), you place each chicken breast between 2 plastic foils and you pound it until it flattens.
◇ Once all the chicken breasts are flattened, place them on a skillet at high temperature for approx. 5 minutes each side and then remove when well cooked. Slice each piece into vertical long pieces and leave aside to cool down.
◇ After all the chicken is cut and ready, place the cut onions in a large sauce pan first (big pieces) until tender. Then add the cut bell peppers (check my stories highlight to see how they are cut) until tender. Then add the chicken pieces and spray over them the salt and spices one pack at a time all the while mixing gently all the ingredients together. Leave on high heat for about 5 minutes and then on low heat for 10 minutes.
NB: ◇ You can always prepare this platter in advance and reheat it when its ready to be served.
